Louis Tiffany comfot beginning of his career have become very interested in the production of colorful, innovative glass art. In the literature published by Tiffany, he said that research in the development of these techniques in glass making began in 1872 in New York. Tiffany had requested assistance from the Italian Venetian glass producers formed who he hired. In 1878, Tiffany created the firm of Louis C. Tiffany & Co. specializes in creating interiors decorated developed rich residential and commercial establishments.Tiffany incorporated an element in the projects are the use of iridescent glass tiles. They were used as fireplace surrounds, in the screens and decorative wall ornament. The tiles were molded and manufactured in different sizes with different decorations. The colors of the tiles included translucent opalescent and green, iridescent blue and gold, and solid colors such as black, red and orange with swirls of fabulous colors. Subsequently produced Tiffany glass tiles for use in additional lamps and decorative items.Some of the tiles included scarobs, Turtleback tile, iridescent glass prisms and glass linenfold (that looked like folded linen)....

Setting the feel for the shower and your mommy to be is always important. Dragonflies! They should be predominant in everything, but not overwhelming. Start with something small, like the place settings you will be using for the food and such. Larger green or yellow plates for the food and smaller cake plates with a dragonfly on them is a good start. Clear silverware is a good idea for this one since dragonfly wings are clear. Maybe iridescent glasses to tie it all in would even be a good idea. Dragonflies are delicate, yet powerful, so maybe you even want to get iridescent wine glasses to make the function a little more festive.
