Purchased these for an art product, and they do as they say on the tin. They are glass and they are red :)There did seem to be a fine dust on them, not sure where from, but i put them in a bowl of water, washed them and dried them and they were fine. -

Annville, PA (08/05/2011) (readMedia) - More than 500 students from Lebanon Valley College will participate in a service project for two hours in the gym assistant at the Arnold Sports Complex 3-5 pm on Sunday , Aug. 28. The entire class of incoming freshmen will work with the return of student leaders from 15 different stations to make items that will be donated to local charities and service organizations nationally and internationally.
Students will benefit projects in the region including 90 kittens make blankets for the SPCA, vases filled with flowers, cards and brightly colored paper for residents of nursing homes, holiday cards for families to Hope Lodge Hershey, canvas aprons for the Lancaster-Lebanon IU 13 Service Agency education and "Caitlin Smiles," a charity in Harrisburg for children with cancer, friendship bracelets with rubber charms Athletics for athletes involved in the Olympics in Lebanon County Special and 180 bird houses and sun sensors will be painted and sold to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Lebanon County.
