Just what I needed
I wanted to update now that I've learned more about proper betta care and have seen the transformation in my own fish from a few simple tweaks in the way I take care of them. I posted before implying that a heater isn't needed if you keep your house warm. I've since learned that bettas really... -
Perfect and cheap
I bought this for my betta and he loves it. It works great, it's the perfect size for him and it's fairly easy to clean. It's also the largest bowl I could find and it is great for someone who likes to have decorations.

I am 15 and i am planning on buying some tropical fish for my room. I wanted to put a glass bowl in my room and change the water regularly instead of having a filter. Should I go along with this? Will the fish die?

you can keep a betta in a bowl, as long as you are somehow able to keep teh temperature 75-80 degrees.

Fishbowl created SalesPoint with features, such as touch-screen capability, designed to help retailers close sales as quickly as possible. The SalesPoint interface is designed for use with touch-screen monitors, and all the buttons are designed for finger-friendly operation. The software is also bar-code-scan ready: Products are sold by scanning bar codes to add items to an order. So LeBron James dunked on some lucky, star-struck whelp at a basketball camp. What high school basketball fan in the country wouldn’t like to trade places? Not only did the kid ride the James Train to fame, but ‘Bron ‘Bron hooked him up with a signed pair of his sneakers. That is a huge come up for a teenager.
I am not saying that James did not screw up. He certainly needs to be more careful around the kiddies. But he didn’t do anything bad per se. No one got hurt, and in the end it was a harmless accident that turned out to be fun.
We as a society have gone too far analyzing the every move of the demigod celebs we have spawned. What would your friends and family think of you if your every move were caught on tape? You think your girlfriend would still love you if she saw a video of that time you smoked a joint, spaced out and started eating your buggers? I doubt it.
