You know how some people say you can judge someone by the shoes they wear? Well, in my opinion you could judge someone pretty accurately depending on their relationship with linen. I mean, who doesn’t love linen?
What I love about it – not to mention it’s cool, heavy handle and the beautiful way it falls – is that it continues to ‘live’, even after it’s been milled and that it wears in unpredictable ways. I love that the colour of unbleached, natural linen is dependant on rainfall (lots of rain means a darker natural hue and more sunshine means a lighter colour).
