Veterans Day dance at Brookridge
Brookridge Social Dance will host a Veterans Day dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Community Club House, 8150 Hampton St. Music will be provided by Short Notice Duo; bring own refreshments. Ice and coffee will be available throughout the evening. Dunkin' Donuts will be served after the 50-50 raffle, approximately 9:30 p.m. Ticket cost is $5 per person, and reservations are required. Mariner UMC to hold yard sale
Mariner United Methodist Church will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the church, 7079 Mariner Blvd., one block south of State Road 50. Christmas items, boutique items, jewelry, books, clothing, shoes, purses, linens, household items, toys, glassware, gifts, furniture, pots and pans, crafts, dishes, yard items, tools and more will be for sale.
