Fresh Lavender

Aromatherapy Mist
This is very nice lavender mist. I use it on my bed linens and it also, if misted on myself and my little dog, keeps insects away. The price was reasonable and I received it in good time. I enjoy shopping through Amazon.

I've been using it on and off because of insomnia and recently read that lavender shouldn't be used during the first trimester. Does the spray apply? It is infused with lavender oils, but I'm just smelling it.
I could have sworn that lavendar oil was one of the safest oils for use in pregnancy and with new babies.
It also has less effect inhaling as applying to skin.

Yes it is. Combine the spray with some hot tea and you will sleep like the dead.(not spray your tea!)

One of two teams from Connellsville Junior High West came home winners on Friday from West Virginia University's 24th annual Pumpkin Drop.
The team brought home a second-place prize.
The West teams were joined by 217 teams of high school and middle school students from throughout the area. Also attending were teams form Connellsville Area High School and Connellsville Junior High East.
Each team brought different contraptions designed to have a pumpkin survive an 11-story fall.
The annual pre-Halloween event attracts students from various high schools and middle schools to the WVU campus with pumpkins encased in protective material.
Those creations are then taken to the roof of an 11-story building where team members push their packages off the ledge and watch them head to the ground.
If the pumpkin survives the drop -- meaning it's not bleeding seeds or even cracked -- it's qualified to be measured from a target drawn on a black tarp on the ground. Also, if the pumpkin is too small, it's disqualified, and if it takes too long to retrieve the pumpkin from its protective packaging, it's disqualified.

Favorite Things Friday! Sleep Edition!
One of the things I LOVE about BBSE is that we are a team! Neither Katherine nor I ever feel like we are “flying solo” which is a wonderful thing and also, our brides love that there are two of us!!! So when one of us is having a crazy day or even week, the other seems to step in, kick it into high gear, or what I like to refer to as “taking one for the team” to make sure everything is still moving forward just as it would if there were two of us!
Case in point, last week. I was in NOLA celebrating my 30th birthday with family while Katherine was managing our weddings and events, speaking to clients, writing blogs and also taking care of our advertising deadlines (which it seems like they were all due last week!). This week, Katherine is swamped with Memphis’ Merry Marketplace Event while I am working on our weddings, social media and blogs this week.
