Customer Reviews:
  1. Not what I expected!
These sheets are much thinner and light weight than my 1000 thread count sheets. It's very hard for me to believe these sheets are even near a 1000 thread count! You really do get what you pay for. I'm sorry I purchased these and more sorry I talked my 83 year old grandmother into buying these,...
  2. 150 TC is more likely.
We order 1000 TC Egyptian cotton sheets every couple years and thought we would "upgrade" to 1500 TC. The five star reviews must be corporate shills. If these are 1500 TC then the threads must be microscopic, you can see right thru the sheets (with our 1000 TCs you can't even see light thru em),...

Why are hotel towels always so very absorbent but store bought towels are not?

I need really absorbent towels for my skin type as any tiny bit of moisture left on my body will almost certainly lead to thrush. I bought expensive Egyptian cotton towels that were useless, soft and plush but not absorbent at all.

Use a cup of white vinegar in the final rinse - they will be so absorbent.

British Airways offers luxury air service

BA chief executive Keith Williams had said the investment would benefit customers from new aircraft, new economy and premium economy cabins, a revamped First Class, better lounges across the airline's network and significant improvements at Gatwick airport in London.

By emphasising on its motto 'To Fly. To Serve', the airline resolved "to put the customer at the heart of everything it does", he had said, adding that funds would be allocated to improve catering and introduce new technologies to make travel experience more comfortable and convenient.

Created at a cost of 100 million pounds, the new First Class cabins feature a redesigned suite with a flat bed 60 per cent wider than the current one and Egyptian cotton bed linen.

Each suite would have a personal wardrobe, a leather- bound writing desk that converts into a dining table, a new 15-inch in-flight entertainment screen and a 'buddy seat' that allows passengers to dine in pairs.

Bunyipitude: A Dark Day For Australian Pride

IT CANNOT be easy being Tim Mathieson, which really is a surprise, as the First Boyfriend’s current job description does not seem too difficult. Yes, he has mastered the smaller challenges of the job, and our PM is well served by his rectitude. For example, he has not salted away ill-gotten cheques in a sly bank account his squeeze set up on his behalf, as she did for a former beau, nor has he tipped other people’s money into home renovations or wardrobes overflowing with of no-cost, size-26 frocks. But those virtues do not negate another shortcoming, which would appear to be the poor man's dreadful and crushing shyness. The picture below leaves no doubt about that. The snapshot was taken at one of the sideshows to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, where Just-a-Trim Tim hosted the visiting leaders’ spouses, most wearing colourful ethnic costumes. So what's with the suit and silver tie?...

Getting Your Dog out of Your Bed and into Their Own

Pets become part of the family. It stands to reason that they want to be close to you as much as possible whenever you’re home. This includes sleeping on your bed. For many pet owners, this works well. But if your dog is taking more doona at night that your partner, it might just be time to train them to sleep in their own bed either next to your bed or in another room of the house. Here, we’ve collated a few simple training tips to ensure you both get a good nights sleep:

Training puppies

If your puppy is new, it’s important to start them off and get them into a sleeping routine right away. So this means training them to sleep in their own bed. Make sure that you purchase a comfortable bed for them to sleep in that’s machine washable. Gradually move them for sleeping in bed with you, to next to you in their bed, then onto the floor. Gradually move their bed each night a little closer to the door.
