Not what I expected!
These sheets are much thinner and light weight than my 1000 thread count sheets. It's very hard for me to believe these sheets are even near a 1000 thread count! You really do get what you pay for. 150 TC is more likely.
We order 1000 TC Egyptian cotton sheets every couple years and thought we would "upgrade" to 1500 TC. The five star reviews must be corporate shills. If these are 1500 TC then the threads must be microscopic, you can see right thru the sheets (with our 1000 TCs you can't even see light thru em),...

100 % cotton are more absorbent and breathable which means less chance of overheating and getting sweaty in your sleep, higher thread count sheets take muck longer to dry in a clothes dryer so are less energy efficient.
