The attendance was nearly 3,000 people in three days of the convention was held. The show is one of the most heavily advertised show from scratch in America with television commercials on all major networks during prime time programming as well as cable TV and talk radio and commercial.The major rating services ANACS, ICG, NGC and PCGS had all the tables and coins have been accepted for presentation. Heritage conducted an auction of rare coins. Original Hobo Nickel Society had a table that included sculpting tools to make modern hobo nickels. Dennis Boggs as Abraham Lincoln was present. Numismatists young people attended activities scouts. Numismatic five seminars have been delivered as part of the fun educational program. The next FUN Convention will be held in Orlando in January 2012 and another Summer Fun was scheduled for July next year in Orlando.

In this trial the FBI said it read Mr. Von NotHaus’ mind and his intention was to replace “real” dollars with these coins that had silver content.
Of course he has denied thinking these “illegal intentions”, pointing out that it was impossible to confuse them with “real U.S. currency.
