Great characters, fast paced- loved it!
Just wanted to say I bought this book while looking for something engaging and fast paced to read and I was not disappointed! I'm afraid of sci-fi books where either the characters are flat and boring but the story is imaginative, or the story is gripping but you don't care about the characters.... -
Incredible Beginning
I had the pleasure of reading this pre-release and, like most of Ms. Barnard's work, she gripped me by the collar and pulled me through this fast paced, incredible story. This will be an incredible, undeniable presence in the science fiction community.I'd tell you more about the book itself...

Does anybody have earthlink? If So how is the service since I am about to have it installed on Tuesday. I just want to make sure it is worth the money. They said that it is faster then DSL so I just wanted some info. on it. Thanks!
I have earthlink and I haven't been dissatisfied with it. It's not exactly fantastic or anything like that.
It does offer a lot with the e-mail and so forth.

EarthLink ( Nasdaq: ELNK ) is adding yet another element to its growing business services and cloud arsenals by acquiring IT service provider Business Vitals.
Neither company revealed the terms of the deal.
By acquiring Business Vitals, EarthLink will enhance its ability to target emerging data center and cloud service opportunities, including its recently launched EarthLink Cloud and existing managed services.
Not only will EarthLink gain another Tier IV data center it can connect to its ever-growing fiber network, but also Business Vitals' security and storage capabilities and access to customers in clients in 35 states and 10 countries.
Seeing its traditional consumer Internet access business decline in recent years, EarthLink has been aggressively building up its own business services unit through a series of acquisitions, including the former New Edge Networks and more recently ITC^DeltaCom and One Communications....
Web Host EarthLink Names Senior Sales Executives, Head of Managed ...
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider EarthLink ( www.earthlink.net ) announced on Monday that it has named two senior sales executives to oversee its newly established Premier Business Solutions and National Accounts divisions.
The move follows EarthLink's acquisition of Telecom One Communications in December for $370 million .
Reporting to EarthLink chairman and CEO Rolla P. Huff, the business units were created to create a "consistent customer-focused approach to leveraging EarthLink's nationwide IP networking and managed services capabilities," the press release said.
The company will continue to have a centralized marketing and shared services organization, led by Cardi Prinzi, executive vice president of marketing.
EarthLink is also positioning its managed services division to focus on the expansion of managed IT, hosted security and data center capabilities throughout all of its channels of distribution.
