Awesome sword, but...
This sword is awesome. It's heavier than I expected (since I've never held a real sword) and very sharp. The only problem I have with it it's that I went goblin hunting to the woods and couldn't find any, so the sword never glow blue. So I cannot vow that the sword will work like the original.... -

There is massive cross over in the worlds of video games and tabletop role-playing, board, dice and card games. Because of that, GDN attended GenCon and will not only offer a series of reports from the show, but will also expand our coverage to include the whole of that world along with that of video games which we already support.
I had a chance to kick off GenCon with a Wizards of the Coast (Wizards or WotC for the rest of the article) interview where Laura E. Tommervik, Sr. Brand Marketing Manager for D&D at WotC and I talked about Dungeons and Dragons and this season of Encounters (small, quickly-playable retail-store-located weekly adventures that all form a cohesive campaign of sorts) which is centered on the city of Neverwinter on the Sword Coast as well as the year-long focus on the city. Laura explained that the goal was to provide shared experiences through a story and a suite of trans-media, cross-platform options including events and products.
